WEIGHT LOSS OR FAT LOSS — bodyuser

Our health goals are often based on our body weights and when we don’t lose those extra kilos, we lose the will to become fitter. If only there was a pause and rewind button to go back to the beginning of our journey and ask ourselves – Do I want to lose weight or gain health?
In order to become a healthier version of ourselves, we must focus on burning our fats and gaining muscles. It is important to understand that losing weight does not necessarily mean losing fat. It could also be due to muscle and water loss as well. Hence, weight should not be the only parameter to judge one’s progress in the health-gain journey.
The BCA which determines fat and muscle percentages and the BMI, and the body measurements which indicate inch losses due to fat loss are more reliable indices of health than simple weight loss.
